We express our commitment to impact and giving back through The Haeggquist & Eck Foundation. Through our Foundation, we support individuals and organizations that provide a voice, opportunities, and empowerment to the marginalized and disenfranchised members of our community, including those who suffered discrimination, harassment, or abuse.
For the first time ever, the HAE Fired Up Foundation proudly awarded $45,000 in grants and scholarships to directly support survivors, as well as the organizations that walk alongside them in healing and justice.
Alreen worked at the California Innocence Project while in law school, and developed a deep understanding of the ways in which the criminal justice system can harm the wrongfully convicted. The Project provides pro bono legal services to the wrongfully convicted, and has successfully fought for the release of 35 innocent people who never should have been in jail.
