Ivy Patel joined Haeggquist & Eck, LLP in Spring 2026 as an Intake Specialist. In her role, she serves as one of the first points of contact for potential clients, taking detailed intake notes, listening to individuals’ experiences with empathy and care, and helping ensure that each matter is efficiently reviewed by the firm’s attorneys. Ivy is passionate about creating a supportive environment where people feel heard, respected, and comfortable sharing their stories.

Ivy earned her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science–Public Law from the University of California, San Diego in 2026. Her academic background reflects her interest in understanding both human behavior and the legal systems that impact individuals and communities.

Ivy was drawn to Haeggquist & Eck because of the firm’s mission to advocate for those who have experienced injustice and its commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered representation. She values being part of a team that is dedicated to helping others and finds it especially rewarding when potential clients express relief after finally having the opportunity to share their experiences and feel heard.

Outside of work, Ivy enjoys reading, watching movies, and traveling with friends and family to explore new cities, cultures, and experiences. She speaks Gujarati and has conversational proficiency in Hindi.
