Legal ASsistant Job Posting:
Would you like the opportunity to help clients, lawyers and paralegals build their case?
If so, then you could be a perfect fit for our Legal Assistant role.
We are a fast‐paced trauma-informed law firm that represents employees who have faced discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and labor trafficking. We also represent survivors of sex trafficking and institutional sexual assault.
We need someone grounded, organized, and deeply respectful of people’s lived experiences.
Salary: $25-$28/hour
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to assist our attorneys, paralegals, and back up administrators with various legal assistant duties.

Requirements:
- College degree
- Organized, detail oriented, and takes pride in work product
- Clear and concise writer
- Self-motivated, problem-solver, and an infectious can-do attitude
- Able to embrace challenges and handle feedback calmly
- Puts client service above all else
- Takes a team-centric approach to work and life
- Healthy sense of passion and desire to change the world for the better
Responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to:
- Draft letters to clients and opposing counsel
- Request, obtain, and index employment and medical records
- Work with paralegals and attorneys on various litigation tasks
- Organize case files for discovery and hearings
- Speak with potential clients over the phone when Intake Specialist is not available
