We are looking for someone who understands that when someone calls a law office, they are often navigating one of the hardest moments of their life.
Talking with potential clients on the phone is a central part of this role. The intake specialist is usually the first point of contact for our law firm and must provide trauma-informed advocacy while managing high volume and time-sensitive workflow effectively and efficiently.
We are a fast‐paced trauma-informed law firm that represents employees who have faced discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and labor trafficking. We also represent survivors of sex trafficking and institutional sexual assault.
We need someone grounded, organized, and deeply respectful of people’s lived experiences.
We are currently considering applicants for full-time and part-time intake specialists in-office and hybrid options available.
Full-time position $52,000-$57,000 annually. Part-time hours negotiable.

Requirements:
- Previous advocacy or crisis intervention training and experience (volunteer or employment)
- Previous intake experience
- Ability to listen to people share their traumatic experiences
- Self-motivated problem-solver
- Organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in work product
- Able to embrace challenges and handle feedback calmly
- Clear and concise writer and communicator
- College degree (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Answering and returning calls from prospective clients
- Conducting structured and thorough intake interviews
- Documenting case details accurately and efficiently
- Screening and routing cases
- Supporting attorneys with organized case summaries
- Following up with care and consistency
- Scheduling meetings and gathering documents from prospective clients
- Other administrative duties
