Mei-Ling Downey-Wilson

Bio

Mei-Ling Downey-Wilson is an Executive Assistant on the Haeggquist & Eck (HAE) team. Mei-Ling graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Theater from the University of California, San Diego where she also received her Paralegal Certification. Mei-Ling is a member of the San Diego Chapter Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).

Prior to joining HAE, Mei-Ling worked as a Legal Administrator for a large law firm in San Diego. Mei-Ling has an extensive background in office administration, technology management, and human resources management.

When asked why she chose HAE, “The culture feels like a good fit for me. I like the passion that Alreen has and her philosophy on life. It is not often you get that from an attorney shareholder,” said Mei-Ling.

Mei-Ling was a U.S. Air Force dependent and has lived and traveled all over the world; however, she has lived in San Diego for most of her life. When she’s not working, Mei-Ling enjoys playing board games with friends and family, reading, riding bikes, spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and cuddling with her cats.

You’d be surprised to learn that Mei-Ling does voiceovers and has performed in musicals. If Mei-Ling could have dinner with anyone in history, it would be Michelangelo so that she could talk to him about the Sistine Chapel.
