Nardeen Kaldas

Intake Specialist

Intake Specialist

As Haeggquist & Eck’s intake specialist, Nardeen Kaldas is one of the first points of contact our clients have with the firm, and she brings both compassion and meticulous attention to detail to her role. Prior to joining HAE, Nardeen was a business development representative at Washington, D.C.-based Legends of Learning, where she led her team in conversion rates for new clients and developed and maintained relationships with educators and educational partners coast to coast. She has also served as a language and culture assistant for the Valencian Autonomous Government, where she designed English lesson plans for twelve classes composed mostly of students from immigrant and incarcerated families.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, Nardeen completed internships with the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office, the YMCA of Urbana, Ill. (where she launched the first-ever Mass Incarceration Week and partnered with a local organization to help formerly incarcerated people integrate into the community), and with Vantage Outsourcing in Effingham, Ill. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Economics from the University of Illinois.

Nardeen was born in Cairo, Egypt and is a native English and Arabic speaker. She is also fluent in Spanish. She was drawn to HAE and plaintiff’s work from a lifelong fascination with the legal profession and a desire to work with underrepresented populations to initiate lasting policy changes.
